I love to form a plan and then make it happen. My 10 year career in the nonprofit sector as an event planner and team leader equipped me with the project management skills to efficiently take an idea from conception to completion. For the past decade, I’ve been able to join those skills with an extensive knowledge of the construction process through rehabbing homes for our house flipping business.

In 2016, The Roman Group began offering our home rehab and building services to clients. This quickly became a passion for me: taking a house that is in poor condition or that simply doesn’t function well for the people living in it and turning it into a home that is beautiful both in form and function. Rehabbing a home is a personal experience for me; I want to make sure the homeowners' wants and needs are satisfied, their budget is respected, and the building process is smooth.

I really enjoy creating things: everything from mechanisms to living spaces. 20 years ago, Tracy and I were newlyweds living out in a fairly rural area. Friends and neighbors fixed or enhanced their homes themselves and I began to learn about and develop a whole new set of skills as we helped each other on various projects. Years later, after flipping our first house, I realized how much I enjoyed identifying the potential in properties and neighborhoods. So after a 20 year career as a mechanical engineer, I decided to focus my love for problem solving and unique challenges on real estate, home building and property development.

After a decade of flipping houses and, more recently, building them, I’ve acquired a solid understanding of the construction process and pair that with my experience as an engineer to develop a well thought out approach to any and every project.
